The Royal Canadian Legion Branch at the University of British Columbia (UBC) Campus is the first new branch to be formed in the past 25 years. The Legion is a part of the larger UBC’s Veteran Friendly Campus initiative to ensure a welcoming and fully supported transition for Veterans coming back to school. The charter of a new legion branch aims to develop a sense of community among the military-connected people. The Legion offers military-associated individuals the opportunity to connect and receive support from others with similar experiences.
